A 9 do 3 de 2009, quando caminhava num jardim deparei-me com o que julgava ser uma instalação artística, pelas semelhanças formais com o trabalho de Rachel Whiteread. Questionei os responsáveis do local e fui informado de que se tratava das futuras instalações das finanças. Por não existir qualquer indicação do projecto em fase de alicerçar o edifício, tomei a iniciativa da apropriação da propriedade da obra. Coloquei em frente às fundações do futuro edifício um aviso de legalização do projecto com o título “Antes de ser já é” mais as dimensões, os materiais e o autor da obra.
Before being, Already isThe 9th of March 2009, while walking in a garden, I came across, what seemed an art installation by the formal similarities with the work of Rachel Whiteread. After questioning those in charge of the place, I was informed that all that situation, was meant to became the future Finance facilities. There was no indication what so ever, of the beginning of the construction phase, so I took the initiative to appropriate and claim the ownership of the work. I placed in front of the foundations a notice of legalization of the project with the title: “Before it Is, Already is”, adding the dimensions, materials and the authorship.
